Hi 👋,
Just a short update from me this month! It's been a strange month for me and I'm still playing catch up so thought I'd check in with a few old resources I've found useful!

This month’s recommended resources from across the web and beyond!
Git revision histories: What do you include in your git commit messages? Do you explain the choices that were made? Check out this video to better organise your repositories.
ML course by Andrew Ng: I completed this course last year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive intro to Machine Learning - you'll also find it mentioned in my article on useful resources for learning and improving your coding skills.

What I’ve been up to in this month…
Data Analysis with pandas talk: This month I gave a talk at HER+Data MCR joint virtual event with Python NW. Dani demoed Jupyter notebooks, while Cheuk shed light on the under and dunder, some of python's hidden functions. It was a great event to be a part of and I enjoyed walking through the steps from my tutorial to showcase how to get started with pandas.
📚This month’s reading list
I’ve got several books on the go at the moment, one for every mood. Finished my first audiobook of 2020 which I loved and was super convenient when on a long train journey, I’d definitely recommend giving it a read!

September is set to be a quiet month, after my birthday at least!, so I hope to have some newfound tips and resources to share with you in the next edition.
Take care and see you next month!
